Creating an Assistant in OpenAI

If you prefer, you can create an Assistant in your own OpenAI account and connect it to Converso's helpdesk. This utilizes the Helpdesk service, with all AI services effectively being provided through your OpenAI account, rather than Converso providing your AI Agent functions (utilizing the AI Helpdesk service).

We use OpenAI's Assistants API to provide responses back to Converso, and deploy the agent over multiple channels (webchat, WhatsApp, SMS).

To connect your Assistant, you will need your Assistant ID, a new OpenAI API Key, and the OpenAI organization ID.
