Connecting your OpenAI account

If you have an OpenAI account, you can connect to it to reduce token costs

In AI Helpdesk, the Voiceflow customer support template utilizes functionality from OpenAI via API calls. These include various LLM models used for inference, such as GPT4o and GPT3.5 Turbo.

If you use the AI Helpdesk service and you have your own OpenAI account, you can use this to be billed directly by OpenAI for token use, which will reduce costs for conversations above the monthly allowance.

It's important for you to ensure that you have the required usage limits and other settings configured on your OpenAI account in order to reliably generate responses.

You will still be charged the Converso AI Helpdesk fee which includes the minimum monthly allowance for conversations. However if you are generating a high volume of conversations, this arrangement will be more cost effective as you will avoid the per conversation charge above the monthly allowance.
